:Totoro: Pastel Rain

Simplistic title is simplistic. And I think I made Satsuki too tallll D: ah well, not like the prof. is going to be looking at the ref. pic while she's grading this.

Not terribly much to say about this. For my final art project we were allowed to draw whatever we wanted - a rarity from my professor. So, daring and potentially stupid though it may be, I chose to draw the classic rain scene from My Neighbor Totoro in soft pastel (hence the title). Here, my friends, is a photo of the finished product... even though we still have a day or two to work on it in class orz. I don't know what I'm going to do with those last one or two class days (other than any critiques we may be doing next Tuesday). .A.;

The photo turned out a little dark, but I left it that way to keep the mood/setting(?). If you would like me to lighten it up, though, I can certainly try.
