:Robin Hood: My Fair Lady

Guess who's ba-aaaack~?

It's not a comic, but hey - I need to pad out my gallery with some other stuff anyway. Apologies for breaking my promise to not go on hiatus during the trip, just... Circumstances proved to give little time for drawing hardly anything. Some of my FB friends might find this piece familiar; that's probably because I uploaded the traditionally-colored version I did a couple of weeks ago there. But I like how the digital version came out better, so here we go~!

I improvised juuuuust a tad with the character designs (opting to have the black on the tips of their ears when they didn't really in the movie and using the "white fur in the ears" thing that I do when I draw foxes/wolves/pointed-ear canines in general), and went with a slightly brighter color palette while sticking semi-close to their original palettes. It's just... I dunno, the original palettes bug me. They seem so faded, dull... And that's not how I roll, usually. ;

Also, I seem to be a fan of cream-colored, pseudo-sepia backgrounds when I don't have an environment set up and don't opt to make the background transparent. I wonder why that is. And apologies for what's probably horrible shading/lighting on my part. OTL I still need to develop a sense for that sort of thing and identifying light sources/etc.

... And I sort of want to go watch this movie now. To Netflix~! ... Tomorrow. It's late and I'm tired.
